Microsoft is now sending out codes to unlock the iconic Halo Warthog truck in Forza Horizon 3. If you played Halo: The Master Chief Collection or Halo 5: Guardians, you should receive a code.
Codes are being distributed by way of Xbox Live message, so the next time you log onto your console or check the Xbox app on your phone, you may find a code waiting for you. GameSpot receive a code today, but they might be going out in waves, so keep checking if yours doesn’t arrive right away.
You can enter the code now, but you won’t get to drive the Warthog until Forza Horizon 3 comes out on September 27. To get a closer look at the Warthog, click through the images in the gallery above.
If you didn’t play either of those Halo games, you can still earn the Warthog truck by participating in a Forza Horizon 3 in-game event scheduled to take place in October. Further details about this have not been announced, but we’ll bring you all the information as it’s revealed.
You don’t have to wait until September 27 to play Forza Horizon 3, as a demo for the game is available now on Xbox One. A demo for PC is coming sometime after launch.
Forza Horizon 3 is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, so you can buy the Xbox One version digitally and get the Windows 10 edition free or vice versa.
