Highly-anticipated role-playing game Final Fantasy XV is getting its own anime prequel series, it was revealed tonight during the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event in Los Angeles. You can watch the entire event and get a rundown of today’s Final Fantasy news right here.
Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV will tell the story of how Prince Noctis became friends with the other three main characters, Prompto, Gladiolus, and Ignis. The series was developed by A-1 Pictures, the studio behind several popular anime including Sword Art Online and Black Butler. Brotherhood will consist of five 10-minute long episodes, the first of which is available immediately following today’s Uncovered event. The entire series will be distributed for free on YouTube.
A sixth, bonus episode will be also be available as part of a special collector’s edition, more details of which will be announced at a later date.
