In the story for Injustice: Gods Among Us, Joker tricked Superman into killing Lois Lane and their unborn child. This caused the Man of Steel to murder the Clown Prince of Crime and establish a world regime he leads with an iron fist. In the comic book adaptation, we’re seeing these moments fleshed out. Hero is fighting hero and strange alliances have formed with the super villains in the world. Now in the fifth year, the story is fast approaching the the video game’s time period.
