Appearing on stage tonight at The Game Awards 2016, 343 Industries boss Dan Ayoub revealed that the Halo Wars 1 Definitive Edition will launch this month for some.
People who preorder Halo Wars 2‘s $80 Ultimate edition will receive early access to the first game’s Definitive edition, starting on December 20. A new trailer for Halo Wars 2 was also released, focusing on the new bad guy Atriox. Take a look in the video embed above.
After a delay, Halo Wars 2 comes out in February 2017 for Xbox One and PC. You don’t have to wait until then to play the game, however, as a beta will be held before launch.
