Uncharted 4 Leads DICE Awards With 10 Nominations

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences today announced the full list of nominees for the upcoming 20 annual D.I.C.E. Awards. Leading the way was Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, which picked up 10 total nominations, including one for overall Game of the Year.

Playdead’s indie hit Inside followed closely behind, receiving nine nominations. Other games that received multiple nominations included Battlefield 1 (eight), The Last Guardian (seven), Firewatch (six), Overwatch (six), and Titanfall 2 (four).

In addition to Uncharted 4 and Inside, Pokemon Go, Overwatch, and Battlefield 1 were nominated for overall Game of the Year. You can see a partial list of categories and nominees below; go to D.I.C.E.’s website [PDF] to see a full rundown of categories and nominees.

Winners will be announced during an awards show scheduled for Thursday, February 23, in Las Vegas. The awards show, which starts at 7:30 PM PT / 10:30 PM ET that day, will be streamed live and we’ll have a roundup of all the winners when they’re revealed.

In addition to revealing the winners, the D.I.C.E. Awards will honor Bethesda’s Todd Howard, as the Fallout and Elder Scrolls director is the newest inductee to the group’s Hall of Fame.

The D.I.C.E. Awards are not related to Battlefield developer DICE.
