Mass Effect: Andromeda will have “meaningful” sidequests, similar to those found in CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher series, according to BioWare. Producer Fabrice Condominas told PC Gamer (via DualShockers) that BioWare heard the feedback from Dragon Age: Inquisition regarding its sidequests.

One of the critiques of that game was that quests in the Hinterlands were tedious and insignificant. We don’t know for sure yet how Andromeda will handle things, but Condominas stressed that BioWare has learned from Inquisition.

“We are approaching the completionist aspect very differently, because we’ve done and learned a lot from Inquisition,” he said. “But we’ve also observed what other games have been doing, like The Witcher. And it was very important for us that the quantity of scope doesn’t downgrade the quality of whatever your are doing there.”

Andromeda launches on March 21 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. In other news, BioWare recently explained why the game is dropping Paragon and Renegade conversation options. Additionally, a new trailer released this month showed off more multiplayer footage.

What’s more, BioWare has confirmed there is no crossplay support and that the PC version has an uncapped frame rate.
