Bethesda has released a new video for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Edition, teasing the arrival of The Dark Brotherhood. The notoriously murderous faction will be introduced to the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 MMO through an upcoming DLC pack.
“Your talent for homicide has been noticed and an invitation has arrived to join the Dark Brotherhood–a sinister group of assassins,” reads a press release. “Explore the Gold Coast in the westernmost region of Cyrodiil where you’ll find opportunity, intrigue, and…of course, murder.”
Bethesda has promised to deliver “more details on Dark Brotherhood, including pricing and release date in the weeks to come.”
Elder Scrolls Online was released in April 2014 for PC and dropped its compulsory monthly subscription in January 2015. It now has a pay-once model with further support from microtransactions. Its console versions debuted on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in June 2015.
The last major expansion for TESO was the Thieves Guild, which was released on March 23. It introduced new story content, activities, skills and more.
Bethesda has confirmed it will once again host its own press conference at E3 2016. It will take place on June 12, starting at 7 PM PST / 10 PM EST.
