To celebrate this weekend’s Halo World Championship event, Microsoft is offering one of the best deals ever on the digital version of Halo 5: Guardians. Through Sunday, March 20, you can get the Xbox One shooter for just $30, while the deluxe edition (which includes more Reqs) can be had for $45.

If you’d rather buy a physical copy of Halo 5, Amazon will sell the game for $40 starting Friday, March 18, at 9 AM PST. The retailer will also throw in three Gold Req packs, while a discount on the Arena Req Bundle will be offered for $12.50 instead of $25.

In other Halo 5 news, 343 has released a new Spartan’s Armory Req pack that comes with 14 new weapon skins. Included in the pack are Assault Rifle and Magnum skins (pictured in the image above) that were previously only available to developers.

The pack is on sale now and will be offered until the evening of March 20. You can buy it for 80,000 RP or by spending $10. A full rundown of included Reqs is available here on the Xbox Wire.

The Halo World Championship begins March 18 and caps off with the finals on March 20. A total of 16 teams from across the world are competing for a share of the $2.5 million prize pool. The winning side gets $1 million, which Microsoft says is the “biggest individual prize in console eSports history.”

All matches will be streamed live on Twitch, with the finals scheduled to begin at 4 PM PST on March 20. In addition to the competition, Microsoft will broadcast the first footage of Halo 5’s upcoming Warzone Firefight mode sometime during the finals broadcast on Sunday. We will have this footage up as soon as it’s available.
