Top 20 Best-Selling PS4 Games On PSN For April 2017 Revealed

Sony has announced the top-selling games and DLC on the PlayStation Store for April, and it was Persona 5 that came out on top of the PS4 charts in the United States.

Persona 5 launched on April 4, giving it the benefit of having almost a full month to rack up sales. (Compare that with MLB The Show 17, which launched on March 28 and made it to No.4 on the US charts for March and No. 5 for April.) For its part, the PS3 version of Persona 5 made it to No. 3 in the US but didn’t rank in the top 10 for Europe. The PS4 version was the No. 13 game in Europe.

There weren’t a ton of major releases on PS4 in April, which may explain why the rest of the top five was mostly comprised of older games: Grand Theft Auto V, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, and The Last of Us Remastered in the US, and FIFA 17, GTA V, Ark: Survival Evolved, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, and Sniper Elite III in Europe.

March’s big, chart-topping releases fell pretty steeply in April. Ghost Recon: Wildlands fell to No. 9 (No. 10 in Europe), Horizon Zero Dawn to No. 13 (No. 20 in Europe), and Mass Effect: Andromeda to No. 15 (not in Europe’s top 20).
