Project Cars 2 comes out later this year, and today developer Slightly Mad Studios revealed what you’ll get if you preorder it or buy it on its launch day. The game’s Day-One Edition will come with a Japanese DLC pack that includes four cars from Honda and Nissan.
In a press release, Slightly Mad said that the edition includes Nissan’s Group A R32 Skyline GT-R and N280ZX GTX race car, and Honda’s 280ZX GTX and 2&4 concept car. The pack also comes with unique paint jobs for each car.
Recently, Slighty Mad showed off another vehicle that will be drivable in Project Cars 2. The developer released a short trailer showing footage of the McLaren 720s, a brand-new supercar, racing around the Long Beach Grand Prix track. You can watch that trailer here.
Project Cars 2 is coming for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC; the developer has no plans to bring it to Switch. Although there’s no specific launch date yet, the press release states “late 2017″ and Slightly Mad’s CEO said “September-ish” in a forum post earlier this year. In February, GameSpot interviewed Slightly Mad to talk about how Project Cars 2 improves on the original. It’ll have a full 24-hour weather cycle and dynamically varying track conditions, and will also support virtual reality headsets on PC.
