Publisher Dark Horse is set to release The Art of Gears of War 4 this year, following the launch of the video game. It features a bunch of concept and production art, in addition to commentary from the development team.
The Art of Gears of War 4 hits stores on December 20 and can be preordered at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. It costs $50 and has 184 pages. No images of the book have been released, but you can check out the cover art below.
This isn’t the first time Dark Horse has published a video game art book. It released a Fallout 4 book that features never-before-seen images last year. It also partnered with Naughty Dog to release The Art of Uncharted 4 in May and is set to publish The Art of Metal Gear Solid V in November.
Gears of War 4 itself releases on October 7 for Xbox One and PC. If you buy a digital copy of the game on Xbox One or PC, you get a free digital version of it on the other platform. Additionally, you can get digital copies of all the previous games in the series if you buy Gears of War 4–digitally or at retail–by the end of 2016.
Microsoft announced a Gears of War 4-themed Elite controller at E3 this year. It comes with analog sticks, back paddles, a unique D-pad with weapon icons, and in-game items. It costs $200.
