The rumors were right. Ubisoft today officially announced Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection. This PlayStation 4 and Xbox One bundle comes with new versions of Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed Revelations with “enhanced graphics.”
The compilation launches on November 15. Watch the first trailer above.
In addition to better graphics, the bundle comes with unspecified single-player DLC. However, there is no multiplayer support. Additionally, the collection features the Assassin’s Creed Embers and Lineage short films, which dive into Ezio’s backstory.
Also, everyone who buys The Ezio Collection gets a free movie ticket to see Assassin’s Creed, up to $8. The Michael Fassbender-starring film comes out in December. Ubisoft’s announcement of The Ezio Collection is no surprise, as it leaked previously in multiple ways.
The next Assassin’s Creed game is expected to release in 2017. It’s rumored to be set in Egypt, subtitled “Empire.” It’s said to be “a complete revamp of the series” featuring “a Witcher feel, with player progression” and a “freeform combat system.” Ubisoft confirmed that it wouldn’t release a new Assassin’s Creed game this year but didn’t divulge any other details about future games or collections in the series.
