The Xbox One‘s backwards compatibility catalog expands today with one more game.
Announced by Microsoft’s Major Nelson, today’s addition is Ubisoft’s 2012 action game Far Cry 3. It joins Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, which was added to the backwards compatibility catalog last year.
If you already own Far Cry 3 for Xbox 360, it should show up automatically in your Xbox One game library. If not, you can buy it right now on your console or through the Xbox Store link below.

Far Cry 3 was followed up by the aforementioned Blood Dragon and then Far Cry 4 in 2014. The latest game in the series is 2016’s Far Cry Primal. No new entries in the series have been announced.
GameSpot’s Far Cry 3 review scored the game a 9/10. “This is an ambitious and finely tuned adventure that gets better and better as you play,” reviewer Kevin VanOrd said.
