It’s the last day of March, so now is your last chance to pick up some of the month’s free Games With Gold titles before they return to their normal prices tomorrow, April 1. That’s no April Fools’ joke.
You have until the end of the day to pick up Layers of Fear (Xbox One) and Heavy Weapon (Xbox 360) for the low, low price of free, while Evolve will continue to be free until April 15.
On April 1, a new set of games will become free for Xbox Live Gold subscribers, including Ryse: Son of Rome on Xbox One and Darksiders for Xbox 360. Note that the Xbox 360 Games With Gold titles play on Xbox One with backwards compatibility, bolstering the lineup further if you have an Xbox One.
